Yeonchae Yoo therapy

Psychotherapy

Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether it’s difficult emotions, relationship struggles, past experiences, or day-to-day stressors. You don’t have to go through it alone. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to heal. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, build tools to navigate challenges, and move toward the kind of life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families through a wide range of life experiences, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use, low self-esteem, disability, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and creative, art-based practices—to tailor support that fits your unique needs.

I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and have completed additional training in Narrative Therapy through the University of Toronto, as well as emotion-focused and trauma-informed practices. I’m also fluent in Korean and offer services in both English and Korean.

Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you.
